THE RONALD LAB

EDEN COMER
Post-bac researcher

I am a May 2025 graduate who began a post-baccalaureate research position in June 2025. At Hope, I majored in biology with minors in chemistry and theatre. I served as Club Animalia's secretary for three years and worked in Dr. Leah Chase's lab doing animal behavior and neuroscience research. I was also involved with many of the Hope Theatre Department productions, both onstage and backstage! I love reading, writing, exploring nature, and spending time with my family and friends.
SHAE JOHNSTON '25

My name is Shae Johnston and I am a biology major graduating in the spring of 2025. I started working in the Ronald Lab in the fall of 2022. I am planning to attend graduate school in biology at the University of Oklahoma. I was a member of Tri Beta Biology Fraternity, played in both the band and orchestra at Hope, and participated in the athletic ministry. When I'm not working in the lab I love the beach, gardening, traveling, and watching the sunset.
